Dear Navigator Families,
I hope that everyone is enjoying this gorgeous Florida summer and are finding time to relax and spend quality time. I would like to begin by formally introducing myself. My name is Mrs. Tiffany Ward and I will be joining the Navigator family. I am extremely honored to have been selected for the role of principal at Navigator Academy of Leadership. Being part of a brand-new school is something that is extremely exciting to me and I will begin working immediately.
My experience in the field of education spans over 20 years and I have my certification in Educational Leadership K-12, School Principal K-12, Elementary Education PK -3, Speech 6-12 and Exceptional Student Education K-12. During my time in education, I have had the opportunity to work with children from the ages of Pre-K all the way through adulthood. I have taught middle, high school and even college level students. In addition, I have been a founding school principal at several different campuses in Central Florida for grade levels Pre-K through high school. My goal as being your principal is to create an environment where children are healthy, happy, and safe so that they will lean and be successful.
The educational philosophy of Navigator Academy was born out of a need to offer something unique in education and in the belief that every child has the potential to be great! Navigator Academy is going to provide students with a well-rounded education as a foundation for success. We are also going to develop leaders, inventors, and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. At Navigator Academy, we are going to provide students an opportunity to learn and grow in an environment where we help them find their inner gift and help them nurture their “greatness” so that they can see their potential. Through our program the Leader in Me, we will work with students to take ownership of their own learning targets. Hard work will lead them into success in all areas of life.
I could not be more overjoyed to work with your children and to meet the wonderful families at Navigator. I can’t wait to get to know each student’s individual personalities. I have found that elementary school students can truly say some of the most humorous things without ever even trying and they always bring a smile to my face. I love walking into the classrooms and seeing the joy on their faces as they learn a new lesson or just get to spend time with their favorite teacher. The best part of my job is working with the children and their families.
I have been married for 24 years to Mr. Joe Ward. I have one daughter named Summer and she will be entering the 6th grade at Navigator Academy. In my down time, I am a huge Disney fan and enjoy all the area theme parks. My husband and I actually met while working at Disney on the Disney College Program. We love going on all the crazy rides and this is our way of decompressing after a busy week. Of course, we also love the beach, as I am sure many of you do too.
In the days ahead, there is much work to be done as we are preparing to open a brand-new facility. I look forward to immediately begin the process of connecting with my new Navigator Family. If we partner together, we can ensure success!
